For many people, they feel that the economy is something that happens to them. Not something that they have any control over.
But Bristol is home to a wide variety of enterprises that embed worker voice and ownership – co-operatives, employee ownership trusts, a local money and many different forms of social enterprise and b-corps.
We have engaged in funded projects on employee ownership, the Bristol Pound local money, on the union co-op model, an EU project on social economy education, and workshops on co-operative accounting with local businesses.
